My papercraft Roci
July 2021 update:
If you remember those dreadful days (they looked dreadful then) of May 2018, when the SyFy channel canceled the beloved series The Expanse, you will also remember the #SaveTheExpanse campaign to make Bezo’s Amazon save the series from oblivion. I did my little contribution by building a 50 cm long papercraft replica of the Roci, which afterward I photographed and then made it into a composite image using Photoshop to create a commemorative wallpaper.I published the image in my personal blog. Last week I was doing some maintenance work on my blog’s archives and found out that the wallpaper image file was missing, so I uploading iyt once again. And additionally, I’m including the wallpaper in this post.
After finishing my 50 cm long Rocinante papercraft model, I wanted to check out how would it look like in an environment more adequate than the floor of my house. So there’s the Roci, in outer space…
